A single vendor, a very wide RF portfolio
Qorvo (the merged TriQuint + RFMD business) covers most of the RF signal chain: low-noise amplifiers, gain blocks, driver and power amplifiers, switches, digital step attenuators, mixers and integrated front-end modules. For buyers, the challenge is not finding a Qorvo part — it is picking the right one fast.
The main families you will see
- RF / RFFC series — general-purpose and configurable RF building blocks (amplifiers, mixers, synthesizers).
- RFPA series — RF power amplifiers for transmit chains.
- RFGA / SGA series — broadband gain blocks and general-purpose amplifiers.
- AG / AH series — InGaP HBT gain blocks with good linearity and low noise.
- TQP / QPC series — switches, attenuators and control components.
Reading a Qorvo part number
Take RFPA0133TR7: the family prefix (RFPA) tells you it is an RF power amplifier; the base number identifies the specific device; TR7 is the packaging / tape-and-reel and lot suffix. Similarly, RF1604TR7, RF2878TR7 and RFGA2044TR7 are all tape-and-reel parts — the TR suffix tells you the pack form.
Choosing between series
- Receive path, weak signals? Prioritise low noise figure — gain blocks and LNAs (AG/AH, SGA families).
- Transmit path, high output? Look at RFPA-series power amplifiers and their gain/efficiency curves.
- Switching and level control? TQP/QPC switches and digital step attenuators give the cleanest control.
- Integrated front end? Modules combine PA, LNA and switch to save board area.
Sourcing Qorvo parts
Because Qorvo spans consumer to defence-grade parts, what is held in authorised distribution varies. Many popular amplifiers and switches are available on the Shenzhen spot market, but — as always — verify date codes and, for high-value parts, request X-ray or lab testing.
Need Qorvo amplifiers, switches or attenuators? JTDZ Tech keeps a broad range of Qorvo RF parts in stock, including hard-to-find and EOL devices, and quotes within 2 business hours. Send us your part list for real-time pricing.
